Education

Since our earliest beginnings, we have always had a strong connection with the education sector. Over the years, our in-depth knowledge of the challenges educational establishments face, as well as the myriad requirements they must adhere to to ensure they meet the needs of their various stakeholders, has led to our restoration and conservation specialists being called on to assist with a wide variety of work across many different property types.

Working across the full range of education institutions, including both independent and state-owned schools, colleges and universities, we have completed work to modern and historic buildings that has ensured they remain fit for purpose and can serve new generations of learners for years to come.

Our services to education providers

Much of our work in educational settings involves restoring or replacing wood flooring that has deteriorated through age or as the result of being damaged.

Over the years, we have installed many square metres of flooring in sports halls, dining areas, corridors, classrooms and school theatres. Depending on the setting, we have provided additional sprung systems, anti-slip areas, sound-proofing, acoustic optimisation and line-marking as necessary.

The Farcroft way

In line with the Farcroft ethos, we work closely with all our clients to ensure the work we carry out for them meets their needs and is of the highest quality.

Undertaking projects for education institutions involves additional adherence to Government regulations regarding work to and within places of education.

With all commissions for the education sector, our teams carry out comprehensive pre and post-work assessments to help clients satisfy their budgetary and other compliance requirements, ensuring the process of managing our presence on site is as smooth as possible.

When it comes to undertaking a programme of work, we aim to complete that work with minimal disruption and inconvenience to staff members and learners alike.
