Here at Farcroft Group, we understand that carpet is often the casualty of an assortment of incidents, ranging from that spilt glass of wine to dirt covered footprints. As one of the key decorative features of a room carpet can prove to be costly to replace, so with our restoration & cleaning services, we can save you that expense.
Recognising that our services take time, for both commercial and private properties. We would make arrangements that would minimise the disruption to your daily lives.
Carpets can be tough against wear and tear, but staining has proven to be a carpet worse enemy, especially for the lighter coloured fibres.
Upon receiving a call out we would respond by sending one of our technicians to survey the affected area. Once at the location, we would assess the damage, possibly carrying out a test clean as part of our investigation. All information gathered from this visit would be relayed back to our quotation team, who would devise the best route of restoration/cleaning.
Typically for our cleaning projects specifically, we would standardly start with removing the excess soil & dirt with a heavy duty vacuum. This followed by a pre-conditioning solution applied to the affected areas to help protect the fibers of the carpet. Then finished with the selected cleaning method for cleaning & drying (if required).
A couple of our most successful cleaning methods include hot water extraction (also known as steam clean) and a low moisture clean (dry clean). We recommend hot water extraction (HWE) for situations where the carpet has become dirty from spills, stains or just unpleasant smells. Only taking a matter of hours to dry. While on the other hand, our low moisture clean is a more delicate process for when the carpet is more fragile. A further benefit of this is that this treatment is one of our more allergy friendly procedures for those sensitive.
